Yesterday I had a pleasant afternoon puttering around the shops in Shipshewana with my mom. It was just a little over 70-degrees outside, with enough breeze to hear the outdoor windmills and wind chimes keeping beat with the clip-clop of horse hooves.
Good composition!
Love, Love, Love shopping in Shipshewana, Indiana! Great pics Amy š
Next time you are in the state we will go!
Jo Jo’s Pretzels! Yes!
You got it! When I lived in Middlebury I would drive there for special lunches š They even make gluten free pretzels now.
Wonderful photos! I just love shopping at small, mom-and-pop businesses like the ones you visited with your mom! Makes me feel good that my money is going to people that have not been sucked up by corporate America…and it looks like Shipshewana is miles and miles away from that!
Not a chain store in sight, Jessica! Lots of hardworking folks and skilled craftsmen.
Great pictures! I love the guitars..
thanks! The music shop also had all colors of violins, but I didn’t get a good shot of those.
Great photos! Love Shipshewana and the Amish country! š
Thanks! It’s always such a pleasant visit.
I live in South Bend, so I am not too far! š We were planing to ride bikes one weekend through the Amish country side.

Thanks, Natalie!
